The aim of this project is to study the interrelationships that exist between the Aqueduct of Segovia and its territory, with a geographical and landscape approach. It is part of a more ambitious project, promoted by the World Monuments Fund (WMF) that deepens the knowledge of the Roman Aqueduct of Segovia, as a cultural interest of great importance and its social appreciation.
It provides a new scope on the following issues:
a) – The reality of the Aqueduct of Segovia as an economic value, that deserves maximum protection, and its integration into the urban fabric.
b) – The role that the Segovia Aqueduct plays in the global operation of Segovia, from multiple perspectives: cultural, urban and economic.
