Year:2018
Client: General Directorate of Water Management and Green Areas, Madrid City Hall
Sunlight has developed a draft for the “Planning Policy in Green Infrastructure and Biodiversity protection and enhancement” and its Technical Regulations for the Madrid City Council.
The draft contains innovative policies on urban green infrastructure, biodiversity enhancement, climate change adaptation and landscape improvement, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and with recent European Union policies.
In addition, it provides guidelines for the design of multifunctional and resilient open spaces, as well as for their implementation, maintenance and conservation.
