Dynamic Square Arrecife, Lanzarote

Sunlight submitted a design proposal for the “Plaza de Lanzarote” in Arrecife City focused in the support of cultural and social development as well as in the improvement of the environment and the aesthetics of the city.

The cultural and social development is achieved through a layout of a flexible open space with several activities and defined areas for all ages.

To make this open space more resilient and generate environmental comfort, it has been designed with shadows, protection of atmospheric agents and water features.
The aestheticalimprovement has been achieved due to a careful selection of vegetation and materials that allow the creation of a positive visual impact on visitors as well as enhancing the character and personality of the place.
